Two week & 3 day countdown

Well it's not long now. Still nothing definite on the job front but I should know one way or the other very soon. Lots of work to do (no surprises there) and not much time before the end of the year.

4 weeks to go!

Well there's 4 weeks to go! All is in flux with respect to next year and I hope everything works out personally and professionally. Reports to do and there is never enough time. Same old, same old...Better go and get some work done.

Term 4....

Well what a busy holiday break I had with 2 conferences on the cards. They both went well and I enjoyed travelling to Christchurch in the second week. Wow the devestation was certainly frightening! Term 4 has started well and I am still waiting to see what happens on the job front. A personal victory on the personal front his week with a good outcome has helped raise my spirits. I hope the rest of the term is as positive as this week. It also helps to have 4 days next week with Labour weekend just around the corner.

End of term 3

Again hardly any time to write in here. It has been a very busy term overall. No future news yet but I'm sure this will happen early after the holidays. I'm looking forward to a bit of time off even though these holidays look really busy with conferences and travel.

Decisions, decisions to make

I haven't updated this for a while but there is quite a bit ahead to think about. New opportunities on the horizon with home, work and life. Let's hope it all goes smoothly. I will kee you posted.

Term 3 BAU...I hope

Well term 3 has begun and wow it's busy. Too much to do and all that. I'm glad I managed to have a break out of Welly. Well I better be off. Too much work to do...lol

End of Term Blues

Well its almost the end of the term. I am still sick and can't speak properly after coughing a million times. Oh well just two and a half days to go and then I can collapse in a heap. I'm looking forward to a bit of a break.

More change...now location...

Well more change is here. (what a surpise) I have now moved location from where I was sitting at work to a new location. I like the change of location and being closer to my team considering the major changes in my job. I'm looking forward to a break in the hols immensely. I really need a proper holiday soon. Oh well back to the reports. Almost there. There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere LOL!

And more change...I'm getting used to this I think

Well teaching online has certainly altered the way I think about what I do. I'm enjoying the way things seem to be progressing at work. I think moving towards a virtual environment is an exciting prospect and I'm pleased this hasc changed in my work. On a personal note I could use a rest from how change is affecting me. I would like to feel more settled but this doesn't always happen. Lets hope my next post will be more encouraging.

Change continues...

Well change seems to be the continuing theme for this month. A change in a part of my job and the constant ebb and flow of life as things unfold. Well at least I can laugh now and then. I hope things settle down for a while soon. Change is fine but never ending change can be annoying!

Change...

Well its been a very busy time. Lots of change in the air with work and my personal life. I hope I can keep up. At least the weather has stayed good for a while even though its getting more chilly. Well back to work...

Term 2 begins...

Well it is now getting to theend of the first week back in term 2. Busy times ahead with marking, writing,(ahhh the deadline) endless odd jobs and V.C stuff. At least the weather has stayed relatively fine so I can do plenty of walking when I'm not at work. Off to a student event day next week which should be fun and an e-Principals meeting next week. Well back to the work I suppose.

Easter approaches...

Well another busy week as Easter looms ahead. The usual problem. Too much to do and not enough time to do it. I wish I had more hours in the day but that would mean mor work to do haha. I went to a lecture titled "The World in 2050" by Martin Lord Rees in Wellington. It was a good insight to the future even though some of it looked a bit gloomy from a scientific point of view. I'm off to the EdTalks Symposium tomorrow. I hope to be inspired by new I.T initiatives. Lets hope the end of the week is promising a brighter future!

Over half way through the term...

Busy, busy, busy...Well not long till Easter now. We are all looking forward to a break even though it has only been 6 weeks in. EdTalks Symposium is coming up at the end of the month which should be interesting as well as planning for ICTPD next term. Oh well once more unto the breach as they say...lol!

Learning @ Schools Conference

What a great opportunity to network with others and learn about the new (and existing) technologies in Rotorua last week. I really enjoyed the Apple presentation on the i-Pad (I really want one) and the rotobics hands on workshop where I could make my lego robot do cool things. M-Learing seems to be really up there as a tool to aid in e-Learning that is coming through schools too. Now it's back to the grindstone of work this week. I feel inspired though!

2010-Work begins with a hiss and a roar!

Well what a busy start to the year. It's March now and I haven't even got near blogging. Life seems to have kicked into overdrive but I think (hope) that things will settle down soon. I am learning new skills this year and how to manage workloads/meeting with being a video conferncing co-ordinator. Lets hope the rest of the year isn't as busy (crazy) as the past few weeks.
